Peroneal Tendon injury

So I've been doing research. It could be a strain or a tear. If its a tear I'm screwed. Either way it looks like the recovery is a few weeks. Looks like I'll be hitting the bike and elliptical for a while. I have an appointment with the doctor for Monday to see what's up. I'm going to try and run again on Sunday and see how it feels but I have aches and pains in it off and on during the day.

Here's hoping is is minor. Enjoy the bike time.

I had a seriously inflamed peroneal tendon prior to running a marathon in February. If that's the case with you, running will just continue to make it worse and worse to the point where walking will be painful. I think I took a full 3 weeks off before running again along with icing, NSAIDS, elevation, and stationery biking (no elliptical because your ankle is still moving about and bearing weight/trying to stabilize you on those things).
